...so what's next now you've booked your waxing appointment?
Beforehand:

- No hair removal creams or shaving for 3 weeks before your appointment.

- No chemical exfoliants for 48 hours prior to waxing.

- No sunbathing, sunbeds or heat treatments for 24 hours prior to waxing.

- No bath oils or body lotions on the day of the appointment itself.

- If you have time, use a body scrub or mitt to gently exfoliate the skin a few days before your appointment as it helps to remove dead skin and lifts the hairs for better results.

- Fill out your consultation form so we know how to tailor your treatment to your specific needs.

- On the day, if you wear loose fitting clothing in the area of treatment to your appointment it will be more comfortable after the waxing session.

- Before your appointment, have a shower so you're nice and clean.

- Try not to come straight from the gym!

- Please make sure you're on time for your appointment.
During
Treatment:

- Lie back and think of England!

- Some say there's no beauty without pain, but really the pain is not as bad as people make out.

- Feel free to shout, swear or scream, we've heard it all before and it often helps.
Afterwards:

- Some slight soreness, small bumps and redness are common and perfectly normal temporary reactions, especially if this is your first wax. These should settle over the next 24-48 hours.

- To get the best results from your waxing session, please try and follow these guidelines:

- Keep the waxed area clean and avoid heat and friction during the first 24-48 hours.

- No hot baths, showers or saunas - stick to cool to lukewarm water only.
-
- No sunbeds, sunbathiing or fake tans.
-
- No sport, swimming, gym work or other vigorous exercise.

- No scratching or scrubbing the treated area.

- No sexual activity after intimate waxing.

- No Deodorants, body sprays, powders or lotions on the waxed areas, other than those products specifically recommended by us.

- Ifneeded, feel free to apply antiseptic cream regularly for the first few days to sooth and protect the skin. Always wash your hands before applying any product to avoid introducing infections.

- To prevent ingrown hairs, starting a few days after your treatment, gently exfoliate the skin up to 3 times a week using a body mitt, brush or scrub.

- Moisturise the area every day to keep the skin supple and help new hairs grow through normally.
Next Treatment:

- it is important to wax regularly for best results It can take several treatments for your hair to get on a cycle that gives best results.

- The first few times you might notice a small amount of regrowth after a week or so.
-
- Hair needs to be at least 1/2cm long to be successfully waxed.
-
- Please don't shave, tweeze or use hair removal cream between appointments.
